Customs declarations when moving goods into and out of the UK are made using the Customs Declaration Service . Customs Declaration Service is the UK’s single customs platform and all businesses are required to declare their goods via the service.
Postponed VAT Accounting (PVA)
Postponed VAT Accounting (PVA) allows the importer to declare and reclaim the import VAT on their normal VAT return. Therefore, the importers VAT liability is neutral as the amount they pay is offset by the amount they reclaim.
